Engineered Around Your Process |
When a standard system does not fully meet your process, installation or control requirements, UIEX works with you to develop a configuration around your actual operating conditions. Our engineering team reviews the treatment objective, process data, mechanical interfaces, controls and acceptance criteria before the final project scope is defined. |
What Can Be Customized | ||||
The following areas can be reviewed according to the application and agreed project scope.
Light Source and Treatment Method UV wavelength, lamp technology, UV LED or infrared approach, power level and lamp quantity. | Reactor and Mechanical Design Chamber geometry, flow configuration, materials, surface finish, pressure, temperature and process connections. | System Integration Skid-mounted or modular construction, installation orientation, dimensions and equipment interfaces.
Monitoring and Controls UV intensity or temperature monitoring, PLC and HMI functions, alarms and communication. | Cleaning and Maintenance Service access, replacement clearance, cleaning options and spare-parts requirements. | Documentation and Testing Drawings, material information, electrical documents, control descriptions and agreed inspection records.
How Custom Engineering Works
The engineering review converts confirmed process conditions into an agreed system scope and acceptance basis.
01 Define the Application Confirm the treatment objective, process medium, operating conditions and installation constraints. | 02 Establish the Design Basis Review flow, UVT or absorbance, temperature, pressure, utilities and control requirements.
03 Develop and Confirm the Design Agree the system configuration, mechanical and electrical interfaces, documentation and acceptance criteria. | 04 Manufacture and Deliver Manufacture and inspect the system to the confirmed scope, then supply the equipment and agreed documentation.
Key dimensions, interfaces and acceptance criteria are confirmed before production.
Information We Need to Start |
Please share as much of the following information as possible. Confirmed process data helps reduce assumptions and define the next stage of engineering review. |
• Application, treatment objective and process medium • Target microorganism, contaminant or process result • Minimum, normal and maximum flow rate | • UVT or absorbance, including wavelength and path length where applicable • Operating temperature, pressure, connections, available space and power supply • Control requirements, project requirements, drawings, P&ID, photographs and available test data
| ||
If some information is not yet available, our engineering team can identify what is needed for the next stage of review.
