High-Dose UVC Dechlorination for Residual Chlorine and Chloramine Removal
In water treatment and process water systems, residual chlorine such as free chlorine or chloramine may remain after upstream treatment, affecting water quality stability and downstream processes. Effective dechlorination is especially important where sensitive production processes, continuous operation, or high-quality water requirements demand stable control of oxidant residuals.
UIEX WDCU-MP Series uses high-dose medium-pressure UV technology to decompose residual chlorine and chloramine without chemical addition. Since the UV dose required for residual chlorine decomposition is typically much higher than the dose used for microbial disinfection, the system can support residual chlorine removal while providing strong microbial control, with efficient hydraulic design, integrated WiFi touch display, and service-friendly maintenance.
