Surface Sterilization

UV Sterilization Modules for Food & Beverage Packaging

Packaging materials, bottle preforms, caps, container surfaces, and food-contact areas may introduce microbial contamination during filling, sealing, or handling processes. For food and beverage production, effective surface sterilization helps reduce contamination risk, support product safety, extend product shelf life, and maintain stable hygiene conditions in continuous operation.

Beverage packaging materials

Beverage packaging materials (bottles and caps)

UIEX SPF and SH Series use high-intensity medium-pressure UV technology for packaging surface sterilization in food and beverage production lines. With high-energy ultraviolet output across 200–280 nm, the modules rapidly irradiate packaging materials and reduce bacterial counts on food-contact surfaces by up to 99.999% (ATCC 9372). SPF Series is designed for high-speed machines requiring intensive treatment of bottle preforms and caps, while SH Series is mainly used for bottle preform sterilization in beverage filling applications.
